Christmas Carols at Brighton Gardens of Raleigh - December 2012
The Discoverers(1st-3rd graders) went to a Brighton Gardens of Raleigh to spread Christmas cheer. They made Christmas cards, sang songs and handed out gifts to the residents.

Adopt a Family for Christmas - December 2012
The Innovators(6th to 8th graders) adopted a family from the MATCH organization for Christmas. They created a budget based on the Christmas wishes on the Angel Tree, shopped for presents, and wrapped them.

Wobble Away The Hunger - November 2012
The Trailblazers (9th - 12th graders) organized a food drive to benefit the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC. For the drive's finale, the Trailblazers held two Wobble-a-thons at Lifetime Fitness in Raleigh.

Capital City families participated in the Autism Society of NC Triangle 5K Run/Walk for Autism.

Back to School Skate Jam - August 2012
The Capital City Trailblazers (9th-12th graders) hosted their second annual Back to School Jam. They collected school supplies including book bags, paper, folders, binders, spiral notebooks, crayons, pencils and pens for children in Wake County, NC.

Wake County Foster Care Service Project - May 2012
The children assembled toiletries to stuff in bags with stuffed animals that were donated to Wake County Foster Care.
